2 Stroke Day

#1 Post by Vin » Wed Aug 24, 2016 12:47 pm

My place of work is trying to get a 2 stroke day sorted (info below), it is the first of hopefully an annual event so pop along if you can and have a look, we hope to improve the event each year and to expand if needed depending on the turnout and it is our way of trying to keep these special bikes alive and appreciated.

2 Stroke Day

Hosted by Del's Motorcycles & Tyres

Saturday, September 10th at 12 PM - 5 PM

Del's Motorcycles & Tyres http://www.delsmotorcyclesandtyres.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Unit 16, Village Farm. Preston., GL7 5PR Cirencester, Gloucestershire

This is for all you 2 stroke enthusiasts.

We are having a 2 stroke day on Saturday the 10th September from 12midday. We are looking for all 2 stroke bikes from early to modern, Road, Race, Trials, Motox, Scooters and Quads so all are welcome to come down and show off your most prized possessions.

We are also looking to have an auto jumble at the same time so if you have anything in the back of your garage that is now surplus to your needs and you want to try to get something for it then why not bring it along. It MUST be 2 stroke related.

Best in Show Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, we will ask for everyone who attends to vote for their favourite and the one with the most votes will be the winner.

Refreshments will be available.

We will be asking for a minimum of £1 donation with all proceeds going towards the local Preston Village Parish. We wanted to be able to give something back and we felt that this would show our appreciation to the village and its people.

If you are interested in showing your bike and/or participating in the auto jumble then please let us know so that we are able to accommodate for you all.

All the best Del

**If on the day of the event it is raining then the event will be cancelled.**

fantastic Daz :cool:

As message says guy's if raining then it will be canceled, we don't want to get these precious machines wet as it will be outdoors!.......that's my excuse :grin: if you could contact Del if interested in entering your bike for the best in show prizes that would be great or alternatively I could pass the message on for you.

Sorry guy's but it has been postponed until the 1st of October now due to the high chance of rain, it is going to run along side and after the annual coffee morning that the shop does for Macmillan Cancer Support. We will be serving hot drinks and some food as well as a few activities for the children too so combining them seems a good idea and hopefully the weather will be kinder to us then.
