Hi Daz
hopefully I have/ can get a place at Magny Cours, really looking forward to another European road trip and would be great to meet up with others with the same affliction,is there anything I should know or make provision for ? I did meet some guys at Donni which is where I was told about this, trouble is age and memory have got the better of me, and for the life of me I cant remember who it was, Jessica wasn't paying much attention (some bloody PA she'll make ;) )
We are off to Mugello for the motogp and then on to Varano again at the beginning of june so with luck it will be a busy month, already booked the time off work :) , love a road trip and although I struggle with the English language and all others, its amazing how we can be understood when talking about our favourite subject :)

Dubsey the gearing im running is 41-15 but you could use 14-43 easily. We all pay when we get down to the track.

Hi Dubsey, think there will be 6 + yourself from Uk, as Dazza says, gearing can be short as there is only one straight with a hairpin at the entry,15-43 wil have you flat out in top! Most of the rest of the track is 3rd and 4th
Thinks to be aware of....it has been either red hot 35c or very wet like monsoon downpours, either way it is a great weekend. Need a bit of cash on the hip for the on site bar and burger van, T shirts for sale etc...
Takes about 6 hours to drive from Calais at steady pace.
A really friendly bunch, as Darren says we've been going since 98' fantastic bikes etc etc.
A photographer will be there on Saturday taking pics then returns on Sunday to burn them to cd, I think it's about 30 a 35 euro for all that he has of you, but he only takes pics on Saturday.
Look forward to seeing you there, safe journey Jez.

Don't worry for gearing. Those sessions are potentially not "real races" but more or less a quick pace bike tour - at least in the two lower series.
I've been to Lurcy quite some times (6 or 7) and compared to normal track days (Oschersleben for example) they were riding rather friendly. As usual there's always a couple of really quick guys.

Didier always greets me with "wheeling man" ;-)

Hi Dubsey, I'd go 15-43, with a 42 as an option for tinkering between sessions, we're all running 17" rims, it's more like Mallory than silverstone.
Hope this helps
