Hi all,

Thanks for the comments. It was a great weekend but, as they say, it wouldn't have happened without your participation. I am planning on adding my photos to photobucket and putting a link on here. I'm sure I'll find the time from somewhere eventually!

In the meantime, the professional photographer, Chris Byrne at Sunrise Photography, has added the photos of our stand to his website at the following link:

http://www.sunrisephotography.org/rd-50 ... s-club.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I am in negotiation to try and get these for free on a CD that I can copy and send out to all participants, so fingers crossed.

In the meantime, enjoy the photos and thanks again for your support!

Andy.

Hi All

I have set up a Facebook group call RD/RZV500 Owners Club.

It is intended an easy way enable UK owners arrange to meet up or share RD500 related news. It is in no way intended to undermine or be an alternative to this brilliant forum.

There are 8 members so far and, if anyone who was following this topic would like to join, please search on Facebook and request membership or send me a pm.

Geoff

Thanks for posting that article, Andy. :smt023 It's so satisfying to see how well received and appreciated our 500s are 30 years on. You guys represented us all excellently at the Donington event. Good turn out of bikes with a real nice display area. Perfect!! :smt038 :smt038 :smt038

On the other side of the world, the RZV500R Owners Club in Japan is preparing another 30th anniversary event to be held at Yamaha corporate headquarters. See the post I just put up with the announcement in this section....
