What a great weekend, Andy (V4 Heaven) did a fantastic job organising with 15 bikes turning up in the end and getting plenty of attention. could have been 17 but bike gremlins on the way to the event for two members prevented this.

Great to put faces to forum names, a great bunch of guys and although we didn't manage to get a parade lap (well one person braved the weather! Andy will maybe update you on this later) and photo shoot on the grid in I was proud to be part of this gathering...... many thanks all but particularly Andy for his efforts.

I know Andy took plenty of pic's so hopefully they will follow soon, mine are not great (mobile phone) but will upload if needed later.

Your bike looks fantastic Vin. You've done a brilliant job. Well done. Pleased to see my old fuel tank looking so good, at least part of my bike was there

Yeah, you're right Vin. I've just about got all the ingredients now so hopefully sooner rather than later. Sorry I never got the chance to say goodbye. I was outside when they closed the shutters at 6pm! Haha!

In the meantime, here's a short clip from Saturday of Dubsey's beautiful Misstress.

Congratulations Andy for organising such a professional stand which attracted lots of interest.

It's a shame that there was no track time left for the parade and photo shoot  but the photo of the stand above looks great  .

I appreciate the effort you put in and it was a pleasure to meet you.

Geoff

I didn't expect to see Ade's bike all finished. A pleasant surprise. It looks fantastic Ade, and that front end is sweet!

It was a great show, and fantastic to see so many 500's together and to meet some great people.
The parade lap on Saturday was ruined by an old 'diesel' spilling it's guts on the track, so time ran out. A pity, as Schwantz was supposed to lead the parade on his RGV with the 500's behind him. :???:

Full respect, plaudits and thanks to Andy for all his hard work. :smt038

I thought I'd just add this photo I took of the WW2 Lancaster Bomber fly-by. It was spectacular to see.

The only other Lancaster in the world that still flies is in Hamilton Ontario, unbelievably they are flying it to the UK to go on tour with the one you saw. I've seen it several times and been inside it, very impressive.

Great 500 pics too!

I saaw that on the news here! I think it did a stop off in Iceland on the way.

It was really low at the show and did some tremendous fly-bys. The sound was incredible.

A $1000 donation to the museum will get you a ride in the Canadian one. The sound really is amazing, and inside it's as spartan as hell, the tail gunners seat is a death trap.
