Fuel Filters: Anyone running them down stream from tank?

#1 Post by loaded » Sat Apr 28, 2018 8:02 am

I'd like to put a set on from the tank to the petcock. There's not much room anywhere before or after the petcock. What is the ID of the stock fuel line from the tank?
Looking for ideas.
RZ is still running strong!

Hi Loaded, I've put 2 genuine Honda filters on. I'm pretty sure the ID is 9mm might be 10. I'll did out the part number this afternoon.

The Honda part number I used is 16900-MG8-003. The spigots are 11mm OD. I put one on each fuel line in a stagged position.

I can't send you a picture at the moment but I staggered them near the tank outlets.

I did the same , just use the T- piece behind the opener, and use the outlet for the left side towards the right carbs, an the right side outlet for the left carbs. Then you can use longer hoses in a bow. They will be goin around the radiator hose. The filters are place near the carb inlet
