No absolutely none, and if you cut a stock rear head in half (yes I have) you'll see that water when it enters has a path that allows the water to go straight to the outlet, I'm sure a lot makes it into the barrel, but it can go in and out easily, mine have a wall that forces the water into the cylinder and then exits the head above the exhaust, I believe they will run cooler than stock, but all water hoses are in the same location as stock, also has the tapped holes in the lower head for fairing brackets like the OEM heads do.

How do they go together? Does it use o-rings and gaskets?

No they only use o-rings, that pic is the bottom, the dome snaps in then that other piece which is also upside down has an o-ring holds the domes in, I'm still searching for pics.

Hi, I installed Gus´s heads, they work great done 400km´s on them. The temperature is always around 70 Celcius. But I have done the "cooling mod" to the rear cylinders as well. I have a few pics on the assembly of the heads but I don't want to open Photbucket. Where do I load up pics easy for publication?

Gus can I buy a set of O-rings for the future?

Yes I have to buy quantities like crankshafts even o-rings, I'll have a site once the cranks arrive and the heads will be there along with pistons and other stuff, I'll keep you posted. Not sure on the pics I always have a rough time.

Or Imageshack.com - hell, a manila folder of xerox's tied to a can and a string would be better than photobucket these days :)

How are these one - piece billet heads aligned over the piston /squish-band accurately without access to the individual engine /piston manufacture let alone any obvious method of dowling or pinning these into place ?

It aligns exactly like a stock head, the squish band is 13.5 degree's a 8mm wide band and has I believe a clearance of .032 I'll post all dimensions when I get done with Xmas and head to Michigan
