Flast Side Carb Modification - Help Please

#1 Post by tonyhes » Mon Aug 14, 2017 10:08 pm

Hello Fellow Crazies,

Well folks please give me some help here. Paul purchased flat side carbs for his RZ500 project... and I'm learning as best I can.

Please take a look at this picture... What have you done or what can you suggest should be done here...

1. The idle screw is squeezed in, maybe it would work.
2. While I expect the stock RZ500 choke bits will screw right in.
3. The fuel intakes point in a less than ideal...are the just pressed in?

1. You'll need to add a reed cage spacer between the intake manifold and the reed cages for both upper cylinder reed cages.
2. You will utilize the OEM choke system off the RZ500. Slight cable modification may be required to make them work perfectly but they will work.
3. Email me directly at the email listed below and I can give you some instructions on how to set these up.
