It should be near 18 kgs.
The uppers are heavier, 5 kgs each.

I weighed some lower NOS pipes a few years ago and they were 2.96 kg right and 3.18 kg left all without mufflers .

Any exhaust you buy will be lighter than the stock Yamaha exhaust. Any of them will be 1/4 to 1/3 the weight of a stock system.

If the stockers are 18kg.... Jolly Moto said their mild steel set is 9kg total..... nice reduction.

and JL stainless system is 14kg.

I weighted my original pipes. They are in relatively bad condition and are probably full of old dry oil.

5kg each lower pipe, 5,3kg each upper pipe.
But maybe there is 0,5kg of greasy oil in each :smt005

That fits to the post '86 RZ350 YPVS - they weight about 11kg a pair whereas a DIY set or a JL is in the 5 - 5.5kg (for a pair).

I put a set of JL GP s/s with titanium cans on my RD500 and the total weight saving was approx. 26lbs. What is noticeable is the loss of weight high up. Existing pipes may have been a bit heavier than brand new as they had 25K miles worth of oil/coke build up so weight reduction possibly not quite as much but definitely a lot and noticeable.
