Hi all
is it possible to use air filters instead standard air box thingy
with standard pipes?

I removed the center section of the airbox. I mounted a filter to each side of the airbox. If you mess with the airbox make sure to rejet the carbs.

I removed mine when I rebuilt and ported the motor and added pipes. You will definitely need to rejet. This is a common mod. Someone with a similar state of tune may be able to suggest a starting point.
