Proof that my carb work is so good that they don't even need fuel line connections to run great.
If I disagree with everyone, that doesn't make me right. If I take the side of only one, it doesn't end the fight. If my position's strong enough from exposure to the light, you may see things my way when we share the same highway.

They work with pure air now? I would be interested in your secrets :smt003

No reason to think about this crash, good that it happened in a slow corner.
Maybe good that this happaned before the mixture was getting lean due to missing fuel supply.
Much cheaper to replace one footpeg and new paint than revising the engine.

As you already mentioned, I would replace it by an on-off valve.
But if you do this make something that reminds you to put it to "on" before riding.
I already wondered 2 times why the engine of my R1 stopped after 3-4min warming up :smt005

At least put a zip tie around it to keep it from falling out.

Should I file that under fake news or under alternative facts?

Really bummed me out to go down like that. What were the chances. I think under racing circumstances a single shut off with disconnect is way to go. John is helping me out with RD,s Only Texas on the disconnect. I never want something like that to happen or even enter my mind. Bike performed flawless as usual. Thank you Rick Lance for a wonderful engine. What did you think of the gearing change. Seemed to help a lot. Was nice that the instructor remembered the 127 mph the last time there. He said he had to get going about 1/2 way down the back straight. The tranny leak is fixed so a little touch up paint and CRG parts and back on the track. I am going to leave the video up for a while so enjoy while you can.

I use 2 lines and 2 disconnects and in-line pingles right at the carbs.

And that get-off was as friendly as it could get - very lucky with that one.

I know is not a RZ or a RZV tank, but this petcock from a TZR250 3MA is less messier when removing the tank or storing the bike

Thanks Paul and that was easy. That is the slowest corner on the track. $70 on rear set $100 on paint touch up and good as new. loosen forks and make sure not twisted also. Oh bar end slider. I am happy I secured both of them that morning after all the rain. I will take rain riding any time over cool weather riding.
