Powervalve Guard On Front Cylinder Head............
Hi,
After 20 miles (32km) riding since cleaning I found this new road debris in my fairing belly pan.......
Shows why we need the guard on the front cylinder head to protect the YPVS system just in case anyone was thinking of leaving the guard off when you rebuild your engines.
Cheers
Paul

I can pick that much crap up just wheeling it around on the drive Paul!
No, just goes to show you why its there..if you do 20 miles in a southerly direction on occasion, let me know and ill do 20 northwards and well meet up for a coffee n talk all things RD..

Vin, Podman - it would be nice to do a RZRD500.com UK meet up sometime - I met Daz a couple of weeks back in Oxfordshire - I'm sure he would be interested - as usual spare time is the enemy and I'm sure trying to co-ordinate a group meet wouldn't be easy.
Are you in Leicestershire Podman ?
Cheers

Northamptonshire...we have a few well attended local meets and I have met up with Geoff from the forum on a few occasions, we had 3 x 500s in one place at the 2 stroke meet at Yardly Hastings a while back, I do post up in the meets section but even allowing for the smaller number of 500s on the road, it appears to me in general the 500 "scene" isnt quite as engaged and well attended /supported as the LC scene.
With enough notice, id certainly travel to make a meet, even if it ended up being off season and a cuppa in a cafe, always nice to put names to a username!

Re: Powervalve Guard On Front Cylinder Head............
Would Stratford-upon-Avon be roughly central for us for a good meeting spot?
It would take a bit of coordinating but maybe we could do it and would be a sight to see
