With power valve controller?

Are you intending to lock them from rotating and your wanting to know where to lock them?

Re: Position of power valves?
The owner before me on my 350 locked them half way and the valves was deformed, probably from the heat?? I would leave them fully open. I have tried it on my 500 and it becomes VERY bad in low/mid range the 350 is much more enjoyable with locked valve. / Stinke

Re: Position of power valves?
Would also lock them fully open.
Not very nice to ride it, but if it`s just for a short time...
Had the same situation with my Honda NSR125 - 2 years i didn`t check the valves (different construction) - when i removed the exaust i saw that one of the 2 flaps is damaged and closed all the time. Removed both flaps and was a little bit supprised by the power of this small bike but just from 8-10000rpm
Below that it was just horrible. nearly no power below 5000rpm (nice at traffic lights, either you stall the engine or it sounds like at a race start).
