O'ringed head's on an RG500 (or RD/RZ500)

what are people's thoughts on o'ringed heads when it comes to cooling. Head gaskets have restrictions to stem and direct the flow of coolent over the head so it picks up heat, you loose this effect when heads are o'ringed, Really hoping Rick lance can comment as I know he runs his gamma's like this.

Works fine on the Gamma. The RZ may be a different story what with the baffling system used to divert the water flow into the rear cylinders. Here's an example of one of my 555cc O'ring'd motors making heat...

I am not fond of using a Gamma on the track. They're too much fun on the street to bother for me. Not the cheapest to repair or rebuild, either. I have a customer that posted this vid at Thunder Hill Raceway in NorCal last year.
