I just want to say a "VERY" big thanks to all you guys that are wanting to help with Mickey's project. After many un-answered calls or Gus returning my calls i finally did get him on the line on last Thursday. He told me that he has sent to my shop a "box" with parts in it. I asked him to give me a tracking # so i can check up on it. He said the box should be at my shop this tuesday????. When i get it i will go over everything and make a parts list and e-mail what is needed to Gus ( as Mickey has paid $2500-00 for parts ) and whatever he doesn't come up with "ASAP" i will ask you good people for help to find whatever is needed. I will pay for the parts that are needed and take that up with Gus later after Mickey has his motor back. So, once again, a big thanks for all your help and, yes there are good people out there that understand when a brother is not doing so good we can all try to help out in any way. Lets all wish Mickey a get well fast so he may get to work on and ride his project bike.
Brian

MICKEY KRUPA ENGINE RESTORATION
In an effort to restore Mickey's RZ500 engine,
Brian Turfrey has requested www.rz500.net

Hopefully we can continue to post weekly progress
and a parts list of parts needed.

I am just an average fellow trying to enjoy my time off from work.
Hey guys....
I have just landed from a 13-hour return trip where I spent some time with my father, who is in declining health and who I may not be able to see again alive. I have been away from home (and this forum) since last week, so I am not totally up to speed with this thread.
A fortunate aside to this is that while I was in the state where my father lives, I made a point of visiting Rick (Essexmetal), who also lives nearby.
We discussed some options that may achieve a quicker solution. The club build project will not enter into this - I have some other ideas (and a parts source) on that. We simply do not have the time with Mickey's health issues to go down that road. Simply put, he will not be able to ride the bike
Gus, by his own actions, has become a thing of past memories. We must move on.
More to come
