It's not just you, it's everyone here. Blame Photobucket.

The only photobucket subscription that offers 3rd party hosting costs 399 usd. If you bought the Plus 500 subscription, your photos should reappear. Might take a little time.

Oh Sh*t, I purchased Plus 50 and thought I would have the 3rd party sharing - now that I read it again, apparently this is not the case. Stupid me! I for sure will NOT buy the Plus 500 subscription.

A friend has just shown me how to get the Photobucket images back.
It works !

I use Firefox - I've just installed the plug-in and can now see all the old Photobucket pics on the forum again.

Click the three bars top-right, then from the drop-down click Add-ons
Image

Now click Extensions on the left
Image

In the Search box top-right enter 'photobucket hotlink'

Then from the list install this one

I don't use Google Chrome but I would think that installing the fix will be very similar to the above steps for Firefox.
Just to be clear - this plug-in allows you to see all the old Photobucket photos on the forum, it does not get round Photobucket charging for third-party hosting and is no reason to start using Photobucket to put your pics on the forum again.

On the plus side it does mean that all the old rebuild threads etc can be seen again at last
Don't be surprised if Photobucket find a way to block third-party hosting again.

Best regards

No problem :smt001
I would suggest that if there are any bike or engine build photos that people were interested in seeing again I would view & download them soon, as I expect that Photobucket will soon find away of blocking them again.

Best regards

There is also a fix for Chrome that works at the moment.
Go to tools/extensions and "more extensions" to access the store and then search for "photobucket".
"Photobucket Hotlink Fix" is effective.
