Long overdue accolades

#1 Post by rztom » Tue Nov 20, 2012 11:37 am

I would like to take an opportunity here to pay special recognition to one of our members who quietly (and sometimes not so quietly....) has been working hard behind the scenes to locate, or reproduce, or photograph, or maintain, or attend, or simply supply us with more information on our favorite two-stroke than we thought was even available.

His dedication is second to none.

There is no question that he is one of our most valued club members, and I want to make sure every one of our members here knows and understands how much he has done for this club. I am sure all will agree his contributions over the years have been nothing short of amazing.

Of course I'm talking about none other than Steve Jackson, AKA jackson.40 :cool:

So, I am more than happy to give him special recognition with a special club rank, as a fitting tribute to all his hard work and dedication to our club - "Lifetime Gold Member"

Congradulations, Steve.... and thanks!!

Of course, Steve has more stuff up his sleeves that he will be presenting here over the next few months. I, for one, can't wait! :smt023

No, our pleasure Steve... umm, I think :shock:

"Anorak" :smt017

OK, I had to look it up... :cool:

Quote Wikipedia: "In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest, perhaps obsessive, in niche subjects."

Congratulations Steve, but surely Tom, the award is missing the Yamaha dynamic stripe effect? ??
