Shifting revision

There are a few options available to you if you dont like the footpeg to shift lever distance on the stock setup. Theres actually three shift arms that look almost identical, one for the Gamma, one for the Slabside Gixxer and one for the GSX600.
I found the Gamma one was a bit too close to the footpeg for me so heres a solution. A GSX600 lever on the Gamma; its a tad shorter from pivot to rubber and the linkage arm is a tad shorter as well so it will shift quicker with less movement required.
These come with linkage heim joints and boots but this one the heim was bad on the lever section so I cut it off, and drilled the hole out for the Gamma linkage pin. I also have one with perfect heim joints I will try once I've cleaned it up, the small arm on the 600 linkage is aluminum and shorter than the Gamma arm so that will quicken shift effort some more.

Old Post but interesting.... Thanks suzsmokeyallan!

Any ideas on how to mod in upside down shift?

To reverse the shift pattern to a ‘race’ configuration, either 1 of the protruding arms (currently at 1 o’clock), needs to be diametrically opposite.
Probably more room to do this with the gear lever itself, as more space available.
Good luck!
