I'm new to this forum. I have just become the lucky owner of a 1985 RG500 and I am trying to find out about them.

Will be looking for advice for sure.

the rgv250 board is good.

But there really isn't a RG500 forum as good as this RD/RZ forum.

There is a mailing list with VERY knowledgeable folks on it ... I would suggest creating a dedicated email address for it as volume can be high at times. Visit http://edj.net/gammalist" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to get started. Introduce yourself and hope for the best. They are willing to help but sometimes you have to hang around for a while before they warm up to you.

Ha! I once owned that domain and had similar plans for it!

We canuck RG owners need a place where we can collaborate etc on ... so much resto stuff you read is UK based and I feel resource deprived. Such as best place in canada to get aqua/water blasting (as if) and so on.
