GP 500 Club.
Hello,
Back in 2001 just after I got my 500, I joined the Gp500 club. This was back in the day when the Internet was relatively new - well it was to me!
The club was for people who owned RD 500 or RG500.
The members list had 28 entries.
You paid a fee and received a quarterly news letter with general chat, tech tips and pictures of members bikes at trackdays etc.
I joined just as it packed up, anyway here are a couple of pages
Sorry about the last photo -can't seem to get it the right way round!!!
Anybody on here remember the club or know the riders?
I have a more pages which I can upload bit by bit if anyone would like to see.
Cheers Bill

Hello again,
Here are a couple of tech tips that you received in your newsletter.
The carb one is handy - I know its been covered on here before with different types of tools that do the same job.
I have a list of members names that I was going to put up, but I think I'd better remove contact details first!!
Cheers for now
Bill

Hi Masterbill, GP500 Club! those were the days, originally started by Roger Brown, with Newsletters by Peter Stokes, after a while it was handed over to myself, Debs and Winnie to produce the Newsletters. From the membership at the time there is still a hardcore of us who regularly do trackdays together and the annual trip to France. Roger sold his bike recently, and ended up in my garage still got old newsletters somewhere, but all very amature when compared to what the French club produces. Still all good fun!

Hi all, I've been going on the France trip since 2009 and there are about 6 of us that still go, Jeremy and Ian still come along, Jeremy sold his harris this year, but still has rogers nws 500, if you go onto rd500 club de France there are pics of the event dating back to 1999 I think.
Hope you enjoy them, we usually go on the last weekend of June if anyone is up for it since 2009 they have changed the venue to magny cours club circuit in central France awesome track good facility's,rock band and lots of beer
