I think the modified stock option 2 would be cheap and easy if we stick to what works and fits. tried and tested.
As we all know the original parts are quite often more expensive and harder to find than some of the modern upgrades to the old girl.
Life is short eat out!!

For those who may not have voted yet, but would like to....

I'm going to run the poll until Friday of this week. Then we'll close it and choose a direction for the build...

guess I should have read the options better... not that it really matters but option 2 was what I selected but after reading what option 2 is I wish I had selected option 1 .
I really thought option 2 was going to be a upgraded suspension and engine but the bike still retain stock body and paint scheme ? of course I don't know if the bike will have a reserve price set but a custom modded bike. (R1 or other bodywork) might get expensive and may not even look like the beloved gp replica we enjoy , may even bring less on Ebay than stock appearance ... just thinking maybe more bidders would still like the way it looked from the factory in 85'but a better handling machine ....... whatever way it goes it will still be neat as heck........

MC I think you said what we may be going after "The beloved GP replica we enjoy" man I like Mike Cichetti's thought of that Daytona bike.
