Shortening the silencer might make it sound louder, but will not efect the performance of the pipe. I agree with silverstorm, make some shorter ones of your own.

Front end conversion to R6 fork wheel brakes?

How can I do this? Anyone that's done it, some experience challenges?

Hi cidair !
Have done frontendconversion on my bike.
Not to R6-stuff but YZF750.
On mine I had to have the org stem moved to the new frontend due to that the YZF-stem was to short.
After that it was just to slide it in place.
When that was done I had to relocate/ mod the coolant and 2T oil cans to make space for the wider frontend.

Have described it in an other post on this forum.

Started her up today after install of Jolly Moto pipes, sport filters ( itg ), main jets ( 210 ). Fantastic sound and much better throttle response! Looking forward to the first drive of the year. Zeeltronic waiting to be installed. I'm just a liitle bit scared cutting the YPVS-controller cables, and putting on the new unit and connecting all the wires....

Also bought a front fork ( YZF 750 SP ) for future front end conversion.

It runs fantastic! It really takes off at around 7000rpm and a hard push all the way up to 10000rpm. Sadly the mid range is gone. 5500-7000rpm is nearly dead.
Guess I need to modify the needles?

Hi cidair !
Hope you have had some good "take offs" this summer. :)
But I wonder where your midrange has gone ?
I run almost the same setup on my RD (Lomas pipes) with pods on the elephantears.

Check your jetting and compare with mine.

Rejetted my bike earlier this summer and I ended up with this.
-pilot air jet "1,4"
-pilot jet "30"
-main jet "220"
(haven't touch the needles but I think they are at middleclip)
As is now the bikes runs so much better at low rews and small throttleopenings and I can go for fully open throttles from almost idle and the engine will pull good at low, very good at mediumrange rews, and really take off when hitting the powerband.
And that was with a faulty YPVS-box, (the YPVS was fully open all the time).
Borrowed a "new" YPVS-box from a friend and then midrange (of course) became even better after that.

Long time since last post!

During the winter I have done some things to my bike:

- new rear tire ( BT45 ). Rides much better now.
- new LH fairing ( very nice paint job from local guy ).
- new belly pan ( heat damage )
- new water pump o-rings ( big leak day before track day :smt013 ).

Things to do:

- bigger rear sprocket ( any suggestions? )
- rejetting according to input from Jeppe500

Hi Cidair
I bought jets from "Bra i gasen".
I think they are located in south Sweden, maybe Gothenburg.
Google it and you will find them.
Reasonable prices.....

Just wonder....

Do you still have org needles in your carbs ?
I have the 5L1-needles with "Ron Atkinson-mod" in my carbs.
That cleared the stumble at 4-5k rews on my bike.

One more
If you get new jet I recommend that you get 27,5 and 30 pilot.
If/ when you change the pilot air jets to 1,4 you maybe have to try with the 27,5 first.

My bike needed size 30 to clear everything when I change the air jets.
