Re: YAMAHA RD200
Outstanding, Ron. Great job! Do you do house calls? I have a WW Gamma that needs restoring...
If I disagree with everyone, that doesn't make me right. If I take the side of only one, it doesn't end the fight. If my position's strong enough from exposure to the light, you may see things my way when we share the same highway.
Re: YAMAHA RD200
Very nice job Rick. I bet that was fun to work on. I love those little RDs. One day the little 350 you saw will get some work. Taking nice bike out Sunday.
Re: YAMAHA RD200
Hi Rick, Pstamper these mid seventy bikes is where I first started to ride, bring back good memories.
Glad you like the little air cooled bikes, nice and simple pretty easy to work on.
Cheers Ron.

Hello Pstamper,
I love these aircooled ones too. I have a barn find R% restauration project ahead, actually already started with stripping down. What are them pipes on the red one? Are they DG? They look best to me but I heard there are issues with quality. What is your feedback?
Mine is not going to be mint original, I rather go for Cafe Racer this time.

Re: YAMAHA RD200
The pipe are made by a company in Houston called Jemco. He is getting older like a lot of us but still builds pipe I think. He has patterns for a lot of two stroke road bikes.
