Pictures from track day last month

#1 Post by pstamper » Wed Oct 29, 2014 7:23 pm

Elbows needs to come out, foot needs to be in, and I need to be further over front of bike. Oh kick stand off also.

Front tire still has about a 3/4" strip left and rear is on edge.

All I have to do is put my knee out.

A little trail braking, note my pinkie on the brake lever.

excellent photos paul,
the R6/R5 looks good ,
does it handle better than the other one ?
i saw a UK bike in that scheme only black instead of white looked good to.

When I was at the track this year the photos didn't
turn out half as good.

Thanks guys. It feels nice to be back out after bicycle incident a year and a half ago. Only level one but way safer than the street. Going to tweak the suspension geometry a little.

Awesome pics! :smt023

How is your bike at quick transitions, like S turns? I'm not used to a bike so heavy and my transitions are slow.

The bike is pretty quick or it is just me. Instructor followed me at COTA and in class room said, your bike must be pretty light as quick as it transitions. I told him I think it is heavy for a two stroke. Riding on the road I can do the dotted lines or the little dots at a little over 60 mph. I am going to check all the weight and steering geometry as it is currently set up.
