These look perfect for a long term YZR 3MA project I'm building. It does use the stand 3MA bodywork, but would the stuff work too, or is the fairing too wide? I know your bike Alex is a widened 3MA derived frame, but any advice would be welcome.

I think i'ts quite wide than a 3MA fairing

in next days I can take some dimensions (wide, lenght) of fairing and seat if you need

Here is a picture of the project as it stands.

This is what I'm aiming for

Thank you for you help. I still have to finish another project first, but hopefully start again on the YZR in the Summer.

Fairing is different but not impossble to obtain with some modification

upper cowl and hand guard are the same
you need to cut away and close external air duct
and flatten rear part of seat.

not easy but possible.

Hi There!
I'm new to the forum.
Will this fairing and seat fit the RZV500R?
Do you still make and sell it? Price to ship to USA Zip Code 95124?

I am planning on using the fairing I purchased from Alex on a custom framed bike, but I rough fit the belly-pan to my my RZ500 and it appears to be a decent fit. Alex has already cut the NACA duct to fit the RZ500 waterpump.

The bellypan has also been extended to fit a taller setup so the fairing should be easy to make fit to the RZ500 frame - I am going to trim it back to YZR500 dimensions.

The tail piece may require a little bit of work if you have fatter aftermarket pipes. The seat unit did not fit over the Jolly Moto upper pipes on my bike.

I have no idea how it will fit over stock upper pipes.

Interesting consideration RC45

I don't have possibilites to test fairing on stock RZ500 so, if you have some pictures, could be helpful to understand

suitable for build a rare replica, or change bodywork on a stock RZV500

That's a nice tail!

I would like to see it used with the RZV500 frame. (If anyone has a photo, please post it.)

I'm hoping for a custom tail, but this tail is a good alternative.

Off topic: Any links to your latest projects? I need some motivation. :smt006

Glad to hear you are getting back to what you like, and hearing that also motivates me.

I've also had some bad luck and am trying to heal and work on bikes.

Looking forward to seeing more of your great work!
