Hi the plates may just be stuck together because the bike has been stitting. Try pulling the clutch lever in and holding it in whilst 'blipping' the throttle. This may free them, other wise a strip and clean will probably sort them regards Terry

Hi re anodising old aluminium is not always successful anyway. Even when you sand out all the pits and scratches corrosion in the alloy will often show up as pits after anodising. I made up new outer sleeves for mine and used the original endcap. Worked out really well regards Terry

Hi there is a wire clip pt number 90465-02271 that holds one of the water bleed hoses away from the power valve linkage. I have the part but Ive no idea where it actually goes. Hi so has anyone found a suitable inline filter that can be used on the RZ? Everytime I start my bike one or more of the carbs floods fuel from the overflows. I have new Yamaha float valves but the problem seems to be fine particals of crap coming from the tank. regards Terry

Hi I would be more inclined to balance the carbs, check the timing and give it a jolly good tune up before trying to alter the balancer. Might even pay to check that it is even set up correctly standard now. They arent they bad with the balancer set in the normal position regards terry
