jackson.40

Probably should have asked long ago, but what happened to jackson.40?

Haven't seen a post from him in years. Sad.

Re: How Are These Pipes Made?

There are some great fabricators out there, doing amazing things.

Actually, these pipes are one of the least amazing things about this bike. :smt003

Re: long time away

Hi, Alex! Somehow, I missed this thread until just now. I have been following your amazing progress on the YZR500, and the other custom work shown on that website. Am I correct that each of the 4 builders will get 1 bike? I think it's the greatest custom bike ever built. Thanks for posting more info...

Re: How Are These Pipes Made?

Smoker, Theres a killer post at KiwiBiker with a bunch of current and former 2T tuners discussing tuning commuter bikes into kart track racers. The software used and being developed is EngMod2T. If you start at the last page and work backwards 100 pages you will know enough to make your brain hurt....

Re: How Are These Pipes Made?

I wanted to post Mick Abbey vs. Brian Turfrey, but couldn't find any video of BT. https://video.search.yahoo.com/video/play;_ylt=Awr49.siiuhlpfkBJCq3mWRH;_ylu=c2VjA3NyBHNsawN2aWQEZ3BvcwMy?p=Mick+abbey+pipes&vid=e729d7eb19d7d4fe0dd1129c872a8598&turl=https%3A%2F%2Ftse1.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3D...

Re: not an rz but worth a look

Jay's celebration of life will be at The Pavillion on Summit road in Los Gatos on March 23rd. The XJ500 will be there and Lex said he has every intention of starting it. Haven't spoke to him lately about the bike. He's supposed to pick it up toward the end of Feb. More is posted on the RZ/RD 350 site.

Hacked!!!

Hey, Tom-

Ax-Racing's account has been hacked. Please note the new bogus thread, and that a link has been placed in his signature that is showing on many of his old posts.

Please help!!

I imagine there's a few crusty old white dudes here and there, out in the garage, giving it a try.

Re: Engine start problem after TSI mods

Posted this video elsewhere for a different reason. Just realized it's the perfect demonstration of the kickstarting technique I was describing. Better late, than never.
