Re: RZV500 Restoration
Good to see another project bike on here as it's been really slow for quite awhile. Thanks for posting.

Re: More Customs
Imagine that. He modified an RZ/RD500 to burn up rear tires. Kind of seems like a waste to me....

Re: Tour De Bay 17 Photos and Videos
You CA guys have all the fun.... There just aren't any large events like that around here anymore. We used to have "Bikes on Meridian" (search for it on YouTube) in downtown Indy with thousands of bikes showing up but they ended that now. I wouldn't want to live in CA but I envy the cool b...

Re: Plastex Repair Kit
I used it on my rear side covers to do a few repairs and close up the grab bar holes with no issues. Were you meaning that it fails when subjected to the heat?

Inflation or inflated prices?
I know this a rare part but c'mon. I hope this isn't anyone on this forum. Does this seller actually think someone is going to pay that? What's the point? https://www.ebay.com/itm/255868827913?mkevt=1&mkpid=0&emsid=e11021.m43.l3160&mkcid=7&ch=osgood&euid=ba9b107868424941b17c32a70...

Re: Plastex Repair Kit
I agree. It's amazing what you can repair and create with it. The only warning I would give to new users of it is that it shrinks back slightly over time. If you're using it under your finished paint surface, give it a month or two to finish curing before you do your final surface sanding. Otherwise...

You are definitely right about the styling compared to new bikes. The auto manufactures have proven that retro styling can be a big hit. I wish the bike manufacturers would give it a try.

Man, that looks likes such a great event. Nothing like that around here. Barber, Rice O Rama, and Deal's Gap two stoke, are all 1000 mile + round trips. The AMA vintage event at Mid Ohio is the closest and that's still a 500 mile round trip. Thanks for the videos.

Re: My Derbi GPR with CR engine
Thanks guys. I really enjoyed building it but I just don't get it out to play with it enough. Hopefully, I can find someone who'll appreciate it and have fun with it. My buddies are telling me I'm going to regret selling it.
It has a 17 digit VIN. If these were sold new in CA, then why not?

My Derbi GPR with CR engine
I've decided to sell my Derbi GPR50 that I modified with a Honda CR125 engine. This bike was a break from the normal winter resto project. I wanted to do something a little more creative. I do all my own work including machining, fabrication, painting, and replating. The bike was stripped all the wa...

Having done one of these project threads, I know how much time it takes to do it and mine was much shorter than yours. Thanks for letting us follow along. I've enjoyed watching your progress and the bike looks great.

Re: Those two covers and tank seal
Ya, I didn't expect the parts gods to come running. These aren't essential pieces but it would be nice to have them on the bike. It's amazing that so many of the bikes that come up for sale are missing them. Kind of like tool kits and owners manuals.

Those two covers and tank seal
I swear I saw these pieces in one of my boxes long before I started on my bike but I've never been able to find them. They don't have to be perfect, just not rusty or bent up. I'm in the US. Hoping to get all from one helpful soul but if that doesn't happen, then I would be open to individual pieces...
