I was going to buy one however a bike auto electrician strongly advised me not to, as they are prone to blowing up.

I need a new pick up assy, as Yamaha have discontinued this is there an after market pickup and rotor.

What is the voltage output from the AC Magneto that provides the power to the ignition system?

Does the IGE igniter system need a different pickup to 47X?

Thanks KHRD and Smurf 1 i think that is well worth a look, can the linkage and powervalves be taken off without removing the cylinders? Also i'm a bit worried about setting them up in the correct position after dismantling them.
