Re: Newbie with a troublesome RZV

Hello, Long time ago I had a similar problem, bike started fine and ran well -went for a ride 30 miles or so and it would lose power. I noticed a miss through one of the bottom cylinders and I could hear a "ping" noise as well. Changed plugs and moved coils around etc - still the same. Bot...

Hello,

Haven't been about for a while, but have a look at this thread.

Could be be that the cables aren't adjusted properly and that the oil is being cut off on small throttle openings.

Hello,

Don't know all the facts about this, but I read on another forum a while ago that silicon type leads are no good for these bikes because the voltage produced is high enough.

Hello, The JJH needles that im using are far too rich, it seems this is the needle of choice for the 350lc boys using this carb which possibly explains the richness ? Well I've put the PWK's on my 350 and I ended up using the N68A needle, This is the standard needle from the KRs the JJH is the stand...

Hello,

Nice one

That's the trouble with cash, credit cards, ebay , paypal etc - you just can't hold on to it. Mind you with inflation at 4.5% ( and the rest) savings at 3% if your lucky - what's the better option?

Hello, is that a fairly straight forward job to tackle urself....? Well yes and no really - it's alot of work, take it steady and you will be ok. I take pictures of everything I strip down, so easy with digital camera's. If you haven't got a manual - it's all online, I'm sure it's on here somewhere!
