Hi all Took my bike for its mot today and when I got back i found the rh side upper carb was leaking from the overflow. I took the carb off and found the bowl is cracked inside where the drain screw seals and is scrap. Has anyone got a rh float bowl they want to sell please. I think they are the sam...

I had a similar problem with mine and it was a dodgy connection to the top of the sender unit. I straightened and cleaned it all up and its worked fine ever since.

Didnt you get a bottle of oil with the springs.
I have the same set up as you but im sure that hagon sent 10w oil to use.
Is your anti dive working correctly as th oil flows through this as well.

I used to work for a surgical instrument manufacturer a few years back and when the cocked up the plastic coating on some of the instruments they used to burn it off with a gas torch. Best not to do it indoors though, the smell makes your eyes water.

Had a set in mine for 5000 miles with no issues. Stan Stephens did the bores and recommended them.

Doesnt look like one. Mine has no cutouts on it.

Remove the drive gear and pin and pull the impeller out.
You will see the seal and bearing. Make sure the impeller shaft doesn't have a groove worn in it where the seal sits or a new seal may not cure the problem.

I had the same issue a while back. I spent a long time removing carbs, checking fuel and float levels and all the jets etc. Turned out to be a faulty coil. I did all the usual stuff. New plugs cured the problem for a while but after a few hundred miles it would foul the plug again. Swapped the leads...

When you planning on doing it. I have a proper endoscope that will look down the plug holes if you want.
