Try different boots -
Something with a very solid sole. Maybe Mx type if you have access.
I'm not much different weight wise, and that always made a difference on 500 cc singles(2 & 4 stroke) and old ducati twins.

"Leaner on top" - it is reminiscent of the stock carbs when the main jets were too small, so .. Yeah, no side panels so the airflow over the carb could be creating negative pressure. I do have the extensions used to adapt the k&n, but figured any/ some effect would still be there. The ...

Annual update - kinda embarrassing as "stuff" has taken most of my time and energy, and blah blah. I didn't get back to the tuning until September, and have run out of warm days. Anyways, continued the leaning process, and the bike was running finer than it ever has -up to about 7000 rpm. ...
