Re: Aftermarket headlight and tail light.

I think I have it sorted now. I bought a 50mm headlight with high/low beam and some rectangular LED tail/stop lights for a scooter. Now I just have to figure out turn signals and to get them to work with the old electrical system.

Re: More Customs

Looks to be the same guy only it’s Martek Performance or his other business is MK Motorsport. I’ve never dealt with him but he posts quite a bit of work on FB. It all sure looks like top notch stuff.

Re: Pissing Carbs

This reoccurring problem that everyone is having may be due to the float level adjustment not being correctly adjusted. The floats have 2 adjustment tabs, one to adjust fuel level which is the one most commonly adjusted. The other which is the one that will cause problems when either draining the ca...

They posted pictures of it, probably on one of the Facebook groups. When doing this mod I’m assuming people are ...

Re: rd carb jets

You can do them as per Silverstroms suggestion obviously following the manual. I did mine on the bench and set the level to match the float bowl gasket.

Re: rd carb jets

Yes they have to be upright and level. You turn the petcock to prime with the drain screw open so the float bowl fills up with fuel so that you can measure the level with the clear tube held up against the side of the carb.
