Re: Throttle stiff

I use a can of GT85 attached to one of those cable oiling blocks. Works well but there's always some leakage out of the block.

I had a similar issue. I found a new cable helped but didn't cure it completely.

Re: end of restauration

Hi,
You definitely have clutch drag. Probably your lifting mechanism but could be a warped clutch plate.
Starting problem almost certainly a carb issue. You'll have to take them off clean and check them again. Maybe choke not working on those cylinders.

Re: Gear selection probs.Help.

You have clutch drag. Strip the clutch down and check it out. Could be worn fingers on the clutch basket or a warped plate. Just cleaning all the plates might help.

Re: 2-stroke oil lines prime

I just prime the tubes with a syringe before fitting them to the pump. Clear oil tubes do help.

Steering Damper Fitting Kit For 31K

Hi,
I'm after a steering damper fitting kit for my 1983 RD350LC2. I believe all 350YPVSs would take the same kit and the frame is the same. Please let me kjw if you have one to sell or if you know where I could find one.

* LOVELY 1984 RD500LC FOR SALE *

I have decided to sell my beloved RD500. Making room for another classic bike. It emigrated with its original owner from France in 2005. I've owned it for 5 years. It's not needed any major work in that time but I did get the frame powdercoated by Redditch Shot Blasting. I've fitted Ivans needles to...
