Zeeltronic error code???
I have the zeeltronic ppv-rg2 saec exhaust valve controller for my RG500. When I plug it in it powers up and shows a "error 1" code which means position sensor error or servo motor disconnected. The servo motor is not disconnected.... Not sure what the position sensor error refers to. When...

Dyna Mini Tower wire question
Putting a set of the 0.5ohm Dyna Mini tower coils on my RG500. The Dyna coils have a red dot next to the "positive" spade connector. The stock wires are white and blue/white. Looking at the service manual I'm going with the white wire connecting to the red dot "positive" on the D...

Re: Oil check v/v’s
Older thread but wanted to ask...
Adding the inline check valves, it's OK to use them with the existing check valves in the carbs?

Re: Paint vs Powder Coated Wheels
I'm thinking your right John, powder coating is just a better option. I will just have to look around more for a better powder coat source. I wonder what the changes are of getting that dayglo Marlboro red I wanted. The official name is Dayglow Rocket Red. If it's like the paint it's translucent an...

Re: Need electrical help...I'm dying here!!!
No, I had spark...that's what was driving me crazy..... It missed badly, popped and weak exhaust pressure. The rear cylinders were firing when the pistons were NOT at TDC. The crank turned out of time when I had the clutch basket off...

Re: Need electrical help...I'm dying here!!!
As you pulled the transmission the clutch must have been off. Crazy question but have you double checked the cranks are in phase. The front crank has the rotor on it so would not be effected, not so with the rear crank and one gear tooth out could give the problems you describe. If above OK try the...

Re: Need electrical help...I'm dying here!!!
Problem solved.... With the clutch basket off one crank can turn freely.... and I moved mine, unknowingly. Why I decided to check it I'll never know, but it was off....set it back where it should have been and it fired on the second kick and sounds wonderful.....
