Re: Chinese fairing beware
Same with me, took out rubber bits and they just about went on. Single seat cowl was nowhere near though....anyone ever got a replica one to fit? Or got one I could buy cheaper than a Yambits one plus paint? (yellow/black). Over all they are worth it though...my bike fell off it's side stand outside...

Re: RZV Fork Stanchions
Hi Bill, thanks for the info, the stanchions are off to Philpots for re-chroming, and I've ordered some XJ600 springs as recommended by a few other members - http://www.rzrd500.com/500phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=11904" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; They seemed very pleas...

Re: RZV Fork Stanchions
Blimey..... not again please! I read this (epic!) thread on Friday - weekends aren't what they used to be- and that's how I gathered the RZV springs have a different spec. Around page 5 Mr RZmad decides to re-use his old springs so I'm none the wiser about how to source some replacements. On the plu...

New RZV fork springs.
I can't find any replacement fork springs for my RZV, (only RD ones). If anyone can help it would be much appreciated. I was hoping to improve on the stock ones as they are very old and the front end bottoms out very easily, but can't find any at all.......

Re: Fairing from Hong Kong
Yes, really important, and I suppose always a slight risk. First used foam sticky circles (as used under ceramic ornaments or furniture legs) but this made the tight fit problem worse. Now trying covering the whole tank in low tack plastic tape. The underneath of the cover is also very rough and nee...

RZV Fork Stanchions
My (bike's) fork stanchions are getting on a bit and the seals are leaking. Any advice on getting these re-chromed or replaced (in the U.K.)? There are more holes, grooves etc than the RD ones.........

Re: Fairing from Hong Kong
I bought a set from CNBP store (Ali express} in May last year . All in price $431 U.S inc. shipping to U.K. Fitting was good, yellow/black paint scheme was a good colour but the lines from the fairing to the side panels didn't run that straight. There were a few paint blemishes. Main problems were t...

Re: Fairings on ebay
I've been looking at the link Silverstrom gave to aliexpress.com. Which of the sellers on there did you go for?
Anyone else tried any of them? I know it's a bit hit and miss but it would be slightly better than just sticking a pin in..........
