Re: RD500 1GE Restoration
Hi there, lovely RD500! Saw the pics in June issue of CMM and then came across this thread when searching for info on the Pretech calipers. Do those calipers bolt up directly to the std fork mounts (its looks as though they do)? How did you figure they would work with the 300mm discs and different w...

Also check if you have 1GE or 47X elephant ears on your airbox assembly - the 47X uses O rings rather than the 1GE type that you have. There is a foam gasket that joins the elephants ears to the centre airbox section - I checked the 1GE and 47X parts lists but as far as I can see it isn't quoted - ...

Re: Steering Damper Frame Bracket
Hi there John, just came across this post (I'm new to 500 ownership), I'd definitely be keen on one of these brackets if you happen to come across any more in the future. Will need to be posted to Melbourne, Australia however. Please let me know if you do come across a few more! Best Regards, Richa...

New RZV owner with standard Airbox Confusion / Queries...
Hello from Melbourne, Australia, my first post on this forum so apologies if this is silly question or series of questions but I'm hoping the knowledgeable folk might be able to assist. A few months back I finally managed to find and buy a nice RZV500, a bike I've lusted after forever and been activ...
