Anti Dive Adjuster Caps
If anyones looking for some 3D printed adjuster caps for the anti-dive units, I have just had an engineer at work print me a set. They are brilliant and even have the Hi - Low text on them and are very good replica's. He charged me $10 (in the US), but if you are in the UK, I make frequent trips ove...

Re: Help please
Thanks very much. I did try it in the morning and it was better. It still dumps coolant out the overflow pipe after about 10 mins. The two trope oil tank was also a little light. What is the best 2-stroke oil to use? I live in the US. The oil light on the cluster unit - is that for the engine gearbo...

Help please
After a full rebuild 2 years ago, I’ve been starting my RZ500 every couple of months, running it for 15 minutes or so and letting it cool down before storing it again. I’ve not been riding it as it’s not registered on the road yet, as I imported it from Australia to the U.K. and then moved to the US...

Yamaha Spares
Hi I just moved from the U.K. to Washington DC area. I bought my RZ500LC over with me. In the U.K. I used to order original Yamaha spares from Fowler’s. To avoid shipping costs, does anyone know if there is an equivalent site in the US? I’m after a spare diaphragm for the front brake reservoir. Chee...

Re: Fairing Clips help
I’ve taken a few pictures below. Hopefully you can open them. I have 3 types of clips. Most of them are the same type (thinner ones). What are the two larger ones with the locating boss? I only have 2 of them. Then I have 3 larger clips, but think they are off the belly pan https://www.dropbox.com/s...

Re: Fairing Clips help
Thanks guys.
If you have any pictures of the clips for the lower side panels and the belly pan, that would be helpful as well. Now that I have sorted out the sticking float valve on one carb and there is no more fuel pouring out the over flow pipe, I’m ready to put the fairing back on.
Cheers

Re: Anodising
I don't think he does the original Yamaha olive green. But then again - I've never asked him. I can highly recommend him. He even get people sending him parts from Japan and Italy to restore back to original. He does vapour blasting, powder coating and zinc coating.

Re: RZ500 Restoration update
Thanks.
I bought a new left hand switch, and managed to salvage the right side by cleaning it up. To be honest, when I have time, I'm going to have a go at restoring the original left hand side switch.

My pal who is an ex Yamaha factory engineer, started his own small one man band business in Cheshire and is responsible for some some of the best finishing I've seen. Check out his Facebook site under MHF Restoration. Look at the quality of this: https://photos.app.goo.gl/FdUCXDkxg36f0nWm1" onc...
