Ahh... I call this the "RZ conundrum". Really, there is no better place for the A brackets than the stock location. I'm in 100% agreement with RGVSTEVE. True, there is a very limited amount of ride height adjustment because of linkage binding. But I submit that if you have to go beyond tha...

Yeah, that's the swingarm of choice.

The pictures of your current setup show me what I wanted to know. It looks like a custom tubular torque arm was made.

It looks like that wheel had the 23mm axle tube and he made reducing bushings to fit the RZ axle in it. So I think you are OK with your wheel. What I can't figure out is how that brake arm is located to the swingarm! But that brake arm and caliper looks to be from a 06 and later R6.

I agree with Grumpy. You can try to compensate with bigger pilot jets and a really messed up looking needle, but there is going to be a lot of pain for something that you probably won't be happy with in the end. A nice set of 28mm PWKs will dial right in. You will be amazed at how quickly you can el...

The 350 puller works for the 500 as well. At least the thread in type.

The 530 chain is thicker than the 520 chain. They have the same pitch though. A 520 chain will be lighter.

The pin offset is there to load the piston toward the side of the piston with the most skirt support. Of course, crank rotation and and port placement need to be taken into account. The RZ upper cylinders are on backwards as compared to the crank rotation, so the offset will be on the wrong side for...

Ken,

Here is a proven combination:

#25 pilots
220 to 230 mains
Elephant ears with K&N pods replacing the center air box.

So... your challenge is to re-fit the air box.

What is the advantage of using a 110mm rod with barrel spacers???? Longer rods do 4 things physically: 1. decrease piston velocity at any given RPM. 2. reduce piston acceleration. 3. increase the dwell time at TDC and BDC. 4. reduce the side load on the piston/bore. So what good is reducing velocit...
