Re: My dream project...can I make it happen?
Okay here we go... My advice based on a " race bike" point of view. A NSR is a special "lil" bike outside if a factory TZ or NSR/RS typically the best instrument ever to come out of Japan. Now a race bike IMO needs to be Lightweight no exceptions regardless if displacement. Here'...

Yep..25 years. 1/4 century , 2.5 decades..no matter how ya measure the time; it's a long time. Providing there was no corrosion or condensation or freezing East coast Winters, that's it's truly stored in a decent environment hopefully with the pipes covered. 1.) Biggest concern for me would be conden...

Re: Jim Loomis pipes
Whatever happened to the Toomey pipes for the RZ500? They usually do an RZ350 production run once or twice a year, but nothing for the 500. From what I have gathered they were the only ones to match the expansion chamber volumes on the upper and lower sets. Sigh. Yep. Volumes on all were the same. ...

The Gamma is swell and all 👍 But Please do tell us a lil about your RD400 in the background. Post some pictures That's the bike of my youth, I never had. I had a Daytona, but the styling is just not as cool. Chappy red definitely on my bucket list. There's an 72 old man that lives a few miles from h...

Let's get back to arguing about big Gamma prices, which is where this thread started. Yes, some of us get side tracked 🙄 Sometimes the rug needs to get shook out....and it has .. lol Corrections made: Anyways I know a guy who has 3 Gammas in Riverside. Two are 500s and the 3rd a 400 (I thought it h...

OH DEAR LORD BOYS🙄 DON'T MIND ME I HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO TODAY.. DUE TO THE VIRUS. I CAN CERTAINLY RAMBLE ON ABOUT STUFF AS GOOD AS THE NEXT GUY 😄🙄 Wiseco make great pistons. It’s usually machinists who fuck up the boring and not follow Wisecos tolerances and then blame Wiseco for having shitty ...

Re: RG500 sells for $57,200 at Mecum Las vegas 2020
Yeah Mark is one of the few people I was referring to. As far as RG500 specialist go I think I would probably place him at the very top. What he's done with the RGs , pushing the envelope, the parts he has developed and his craftsmanship is phenomenal. RG owners are very lucky to have him doing what...

"An RG500 is worth whatever someone will pay for it .....". Ha Ha ... a completely OPPOSITE position from your posts earlier in this thread attacking me for defending high priced RGs. Apparently, when money might be going into YOUR wallet, you think quite differently of their "value&...

as much fun and rare as they are I will not buy one for the current mad asking prices. like Joe said 15k-20k is what nice bikes go for. btw I have 3 and probably will sell one, but it wont be cheap. 2-strokes are expensive and GAMMA powerband is premium $$ lol Would one assume then your going to se...

Hiding away in the basement for 60 years. FD136F73-2318-4375-8689-E04F54691DE9.jpeg h Dear GOD...that's wonderful. As far as Gamma prices go I found my friend a perfectly decent running Gamma 500 4 years ago in Arizona for 2k it's listed in these threads somewhere. No strip downs been done, nothing...

Heya, Pete. Who was the original manufacturer the gold adjusters.
Reason I ask, is I have a set if rearsets I haven't been able to identify on my GSXR with the same imprinted logo.. I have some ground down footpegs I'd like to replace someday. Might give me a chance to make some inquiries.
