500 Two-Stroke Tech

Just an update after trying everything it turned out to be an intermittent fault with the CDI unit which I had originally tried swapping but obviously the one I swapped was also faulty

Spent some time today going through the electrics, found 2 wires with cover worn through, sorted them and cleaned more joints up, now have good spark on all plugs :smt023 there still seems to be an over fuelling problem as plugs get very wet and access fuel around disc valves and in air filter pipes...

Thanks for replies and encouragement lads I will check carbs one last time but they do have a secondary filter where fuel line joins carbs, so not that convinced.
