Re: Belly Pan / Jolly Moto exhaust

New belly pan ordered from Pferrer in Germany. This one I will modify to fit my JM exhaust.

I will NOT cut the original belly pan.....but it is heat damaged, so my question is - how can I repair it?

Re: Solo seat bolt

Knalnaarpotz is a great company. I bought my bike, and a lot of parts, from him.

Re: Belly Pan / Jolly Moto exhaust

Did you cut out the bulges only, or what did you exactly cut?

Belly Pan / Jolly Moto exhaust

Hi!
I can't fit the belly pan again, after mounting my Jolly Moto exhaust. Seems like the exhaust pipes are lower on the JM than on the OEM exhaust.

Anyone experienced this? Do I have to modify / cut the belly pan?

Re: My RD 500 is soon home

Started her up today after install of Jolly Moto pipes, sport filters ( itg ), main jets ( 210 ). Fantastic sound and much better throttle response! Looking forward to the first drive of the year. Zeeltronic waiting to be installed. I'm just a liitle bit scared cutting the YPVS-controller cables, an...

Re: My RD 500 is soon home

Yeah, the 1600 always has to carry all the load.....now even in the garage.
It's a nice bike. Much better handling than you might think. Heavy pig when standing still or moving around in the garage. :-x The engine is fantastic!

Re: My RD 500 is soon home

I checked with Jolly Moto in Italy today - the silencers are of the correct lenght. The engineer told me that they didn't want to sacrifice any performance ( short silencers ? ). So as You say, I have to cut out bigger holes. Didn't expect this, but so it is. Was hoping to keep as much as possible i...

Re: My RD 500 is soon home

Thanks for your help.
Now I know were to fix the lower pipe.
Regarding the top cans, I think they sent me the wrong lenght ( 175 mm ). They protrude outside of the rear fairing with more than an inch ( 30 mm ) not measuring the smaller diameter outlet pipe.

Re: My RD 500 is soon home

Some question to you who have removed the air filter boxes: - How did you mount the choke, fuel cock and the coolant filler? Exhaust: - Do I have to secure the lower exhaust ( the one passing under the bike ) on the left side to? There seems to be a bracket that should do this? Not sure? - The cans ...
