Re: Ride Height 17" rear
I’ve been speaking to Nitron today about this. I bought a “road” shock about 6 years ago. Nominal length is 294mm between mounting point centres. Adjustment is -1mm / + 6mm. I’m going to fit a 17” wheel and I’m also keen to know how much extra length I need to get the ride height at least back to st...

Re: lower bank does not fire up
Have you confirmed you have a good spark on all 4 cylinders with the “same” spark plug or the plug destined for each individual cylinder?

Re: Backfire when kicking over -Zeeltronic
Hi Martin
Thanks for this. I think I took from your post that you have experience of programming Zeeltronics and that you can get the powervalves to open at very low RpM to aid starting.
Can you give an “example” of a map you have used?

Re: Backfire when kicking over -Zeeltronic
Yeah, I’m convinced this must be the cause. Eg the powervalves being closed on start up as opposed to open on the standard setup Powervalve 1GE map (standard map). So I’m told? Point 1. 0-6200rpm 0% open Point 2. 6200-8000rpm 100% open Maybe I’ll try Point 1. 0 - 750 100% open Point 2. 750 - 6200rpm...

Backfire when kicking over -Zeeltronic
Hi everyone I have two bikes with Zeeltronic ignition fitted and both appear to back fire when trying to kick over when starting. They run ok there after. They both have the same map points programmed so I’m thinking the the ignition is too far advanced at very low rpm. Current map I have which is s...

Re: Front suspension
Hi I have Racetech fork emulators and springs on my bike. They all fit nicely into the standard fork internals. Race tech will advise you on spring rate and oil dependant on typical use of your bike. There is also a mod you need to do to bypass the anti-dive mechanism. This involves dismantling the ...
