Re: My bike is finally a bike! Thank you
I do not have a photo share site, and can't post direct. Not a lot to see though, pretty much stock. basic white except front fender no stripes. Jolly standard pipes, cf silencers and k&n, fairing not installed, some extra bodywork not "hacked" yet. Not a rusted out shed heap, but not...

I have always said this is the YZR500 people should be replicating not the Marlboro Rainey reps.

Re: Ns 400 crankshaft wanted
You confirmed that I did the right thing selling the NS400R. I did`t want to come into the situation to need spare parts for this bike... I will always be happy about the 8000km (without any trouble) with this nice bike. You think its time I sell all my NS400 spares then? Get something for it while...

Nice. Looks like you have comments turned off on your YouTube videos.
I was wondering about the weight. 571lbs... thats close to 800lbs with rider. Handling must go off very quickly once the tires are used up,

Re: RC45's Project-OW48R/53P/TZ500J - OW01 Front end
You know, a lot of people might be a little hesitate about cutting a works steering stem in half, lol. But that being said it does look like it should work well. Good to see you build getting closer to completion. That alloy tank is pretty sweet! Its OEM FZR750R OW01 forks and triple. Decently ligh...

Re: RC45's Project-OW48R/53P/TZ500J - 1985 Works Brembos!
Got a chance to get the OW01 steering stem extended to match the RZ (and RZV) neck. Took the old steel frame to use as a sizing jig. We are in the home stretch now. Alloy tank fitted, just waiting on the 4 way TZ500J throttle cables to mount the 4-way TZ throttle. I can smell the smoker fumes alread...

Re: DIY Ventilator- COVID-19
Its the pneumonia that does people in. Not positive, but I believe the most likely cause of death from cabrona virus is due to ARDS (and more specifically, pulmonary edema), leading quickly to sepsis. My non-scientific observations are that if you are old and fat (or immunocompromised, like me)- yo...

Re: DIY Ventilator- COVID-19
Not to argue the number, it is still far higher than the 0.1% death rate of the seasonal flu. I believe after all is said and done it will be above 7%. But the precise number is not as important as the fact that close to 90% of those hospitalized that go on ventilators don't make it out alive. The m...

Re: DIY Ventilator- COVID-19
Its the pneumonia that does people in. Better bet is to try avoid infection at all cost. And if you do get infected hope to fuck you don't get to the hospitalization stage. Looks like about an 8% mortality rate -- but that's 8% of the infected... but that 8% closer to 90% of the hospitalized infected.

Re: DIY Ventilator- COVID-19
Wow - not sure how I missed this hot topic. The reality is that by the time a COViD-19 sufferer reaches ventilator stage they are done for. Take a gander at the many YouTube videos made by and interviewing medical staff on the front line. Many docs have not had a single patient that went onto a vent...

Re: Missing Track Days
I have been 4 times in the last 2 weeks. Its only been Hondas (the RS250 and CBR1000RR SP2 WSBK) - I want to get the 500 completed and on track soon. Then will probably slim the stable of everything except these 3 and focus on mastering these 3 bikes. Just trying to get the most out of life, the bik...
