Do the cranks while your there. The ports look like the chamfer is non existant?
Do it once and do it properly. My bike sat for about a year then hydraulic locked on first start due to bad crank seals.

sounds to me like there is still air in the system. do you still have the anti-dive hooked up? who rebuilt the M/C and did they use the correct parts? sometimes on bikes you need to bleed them at the junction where the line from the m/c splits into two.

do the numbers run inline withe the rest of the world, as in was there 47X0000142 then 53G0000143 or did each variant have its own set of numbers? i have 53G0000143 (mk1) and 53G0004400 (mk2).
