Re: TZR500 Race bike
Nice. What size connecting rods are you using? What about pistons? I think you should be making more power with the leak fixed. Nice idea. I know the cylinders are not cheap.

Re: Another V4 2 stroke 500?
Two to three years ago there was a set of cracked YZR500 magnesium engine cases for sale for $2500. Needless to say I lost the auction. I believe this guy was the winning bidder and that he used those cases to make a mold. They look very similar to the YZR500 cases with the exception of the Honda 25...

Re: ADE SYM RGV 500 PROJECT
Ade, I just googled the YZR 500 Sabre and I believe this might be similar to 97-03 YZR500 in style. If this is the case I will most likely take a self supporting carbon unit as well. Please list pricing and pics. Its true, your bike will be a great XR89 replica. I would like to learn more about the ...

Re: ADE SYM RGV 500 PROJECT
Ade, you rule. Are the tail sections going to be self supporting? As well, do you know where I can find a 96-98 YZR500 self suppporting or one for use with a subframe tail piece? What did you do for front suspension on your build? I want to keep using the RSV1000R or RSV1000 forks but I cannot find ...

Re: ADE SYM RGV 500 PROJECT
Ade, can I buy two sets of fairing and tail pieces in carbon? Doing two XR89 stroker replica builds as well. Nice build.

Re: RG500 Reverse Hybrid
Must get really hot on that seat. I hope no one get's hurt. He should add a heat shield on each side to prevent injury. Other then that it is a unique combination. The BSA is an antique and costly unit. The RG500 is an expensive unit. I would love to know more about the frame and bike as I am sure i...

Re: The custom sand cast RZ500 engine cases
There was a set of YZR500 cases on ebay last year. I lost the auction at $1,501. The cases were cracked. I believe these cases are built on YZR500 cases. I could be wrong though.

Re: TZR500 Race bike
Nice build. I always wanted YZR500 style case reed and carb's inline. I am glad you figured out how to do it. How exactly does the top plate fit to the cases? Is it JB welded in? Hoe many CC's is the engine?

Re: YZR 500 rd
The honda tank is the closest in size to the YZR500 shape and size I believe. Dubsey proved that. I do believe that the vent tube is close from the factory as well. Can you post a link to the petcock or fuel tap that you used? I would like to buy one as well as I can use it when my tank gets modifie...

Re: YZR 500 rd
Who did the tank work? What all was removed? I would love to see the tank on the bike to see what it looks like. I too have a VFR400RR tank to put on my replica build. I was thinking of plating in the concave area to make it look period correct like the YZR500 tank. Yours appears to have had the bot...
