Re: A swedish wreck out on the roades again....
Hi All ! I´m sad to say......... This bike I owned since -09 has now a new home. It´s been fun years but a whiplash-injury I got a few years back has taken the fun out of riding the RD. Good to know that the bike is in good hands and it will be ridden and taken care of. God speed Regards // Jeppe

Re: Modifying... modifying
Hi
I run with 0,85 mm spuishband.
Have done it for a couple of seasons with no issues.
Others can explain better then me but the 2T guys I spoke with told me " you can´t have more then max 1 mm spuishband otherwise you don't have a spuishband ".

Re: Modifying... modifying
Hello everybody, I would be really grateful for some feedback. I measured the gap between squish band and piston top using the solder wire method on the two front cylinders. It's over 2.2mm. I took the measurement 4 times, so I am assuming it's reasonably accurate. I recall reading somewhere it had...

Re: smallest battery
Hi ! I been using a 2,3 Ah battery in my bike for a couple of years now without any issues. Made a new braket/ holder and relocated it under the seat between exhaustpipes when changed to a YZF750-swingarm.. Re: Which Emulsion Tubes to use with Ivan's Kit
The bike with fully open YPVS must have been quite strange to ride. I'm not surprised you had issues with jetting! Maybe unifilters on my bike are the way to go? It would certainly be interesting to see what effect they had. The spark plugs are a very dark brown so perhaps may respond well. Hehe No...

Re: Which Emulsion Tubes to use with Ivan's Kit
Hi Jeppe - I have #2.0 pilot air with a #22.5 pilot jet (stock). Why did you increase the pilot jet from 22.5 to 27.5 or 30? This will make the pilot circuit richer. However if you bike is heavily modified I guess that would be a normal modification. Were you experiencing weak mixture issues? I wou...

Re: Which Emulsion Tubes to use with Ivan's Kit
Hi all !
Just wonder what pilot jet size you have ?
On my RD I did change the air jet to 1,4 size and that affected the pilot jet circuit.
Had go up to the size27,5 or 30 to clear all out.
As is now it,s much better at low rews/ low load then before.
It's not perfect but close....

Re: Front and Rear Weight Bias
Hi Jeppe - very nice bike, out of interest could you measure the distance from the floor to the bottom of the front and rear indicators. Much appreciated. Cheers Trevor Thank's ! For your info the front and rearend are from a Yamaha YZF750. When I did the 17-rims conversion I raised the rear for co...

Re: Front and Rear Weight Bias
[quote="Blobber"]Thanks Rick, I will try lowing the front by maybe 10mm and see what that feels like.[ Hi Blobber I've lower the frontend on my bike, and of course raised the rear. The yokes are stickning up quite a bit now. Handling with 17"-rims is really good with no issues. [URL=h...

Still OEM needles.... :???: Ok That will have an effect. The org needles are to rich in the midrange (4-5k rew). When you open up thr intakeside it will be even more noticable. I changed the needles just to be sure when I went for UNI-filters on the elephantears. No stumble in the midrange but at l...
