Didnt think there was any packing in the standard top pipes just mechanical baffles and weight!!
Have run it today and it is fine I also did compression test and running 125psi on all 4 pots.

Is fuel flowing from the tank ok?have you put fuel tap to prime? When carbs were cleaned were the pilot jets clean and the pilot hole in the carb to Venturi as this is real tiny. yes you can use tzr pistons without window with no ill effects,if you look at tsi spec they use the windowless piston.

Oops what I meant by fluid change was correct weight oil and amount,brakes will need to bed in as discs will be a little dirty/contaminated from standing all those years in japan, if they have not fitted new pads it maybe worthwhile getting yourself new ones when you pick the bike up. Hi Sundaytimes,
do the forks change softness etc. when you use the adjustment on them,noticeable difference at all?has the fluid been changed?jap bikes are quite softly sprung as a rule, maybe coz they are a smaller and lighter race than us pie munchers.

Adrian flux but make sure you have it registered by the dealer b4 u insure it,as it will be cheaper.it is very difficult to get insurance for a bike without registration number.
