Hi Tom Thank you very much for the help. My heart still is with two strokes, and I do get out to Willow every so often. I know it is a while away, but I will be at the AHMRA races this coming year. I've had a few responsibilities come into my life that are taking most of my spare time. Sometimes I w...

Hi Tom I have tried again just now, being very careful to get the upper case/lower case correct, and it still sends me back, telling me that the validation text did not match. I will copy/paste the ad just below, as I don't have your email to send it to you, and would appreciate it if you could post...

Validation does not work for posting ads......... Help, Tom

I don't know any other way to get this to your attention, but I have been trying to run an ad, and every time I type in the validation code, it tells me I have it wrong. I have tried too many times to have been making a mistake every time.

I would appreciate help..................

Thanks

Hey William Your Daytona Special really is........ special. Who made the pipes on it? If you've ever heard one running with the stock pipes, you could barely hear it. One thing we did way back, was to have Works Performance make up a set of shocks for the 350/400's. They made such a huge difference ...

Hi William Do you live in California? My first born is a 23 year old going on 16, in her 5th year of Junior college, who is spoiled by her mother, my FORMER wife, and her grandparents. You seem like a nice guy, so I wouldn't do that to you. Odd to see one of these 750's with standard carbs. Usually ...

Yeah..... the good 'ol days.... At the expense of sounding very old, I did ride one of these. In the early '80's there was a track called Ontario Motor Speedway. I rode one in one practice session. I remember going out and coming in after putting around for about 3 laps, scared shitless. The owner o...

From the style of the seat, my guess is that it is a TZ700......... close? If so, they are sweethearts to ride, great powerband, very little vibration, great brakes. Who did the pipes, as the originals were flat sided that always cracked? These were about 135 HP, so a lot of modern, off the showroom...

Roberts and TZ700 re-united at Indy in August

In conjunction with the MotoGP race at Indianapolis this year, they have exhumed the TZ700 that Roberts rode in '74 at the Indy Mile, and the King himself will take a few laps. Below is a link to video of '74 event. No matter how many times you see it, it still if amazing. http://www.youtube.com/wat...

Just a quick second to what Gus said about pre-mix. Premixing removes part of the gas that goes through the carbs, with the same amount of air going through, thereby leaning out the mixture. If all I saw was the top of the piston, I would say that it was seized because it was too lean, and holed the...

I did a dis-assemble, re-assemble on a project that I didn't have a manual for, and set up a video camera, and videoed the process, using the remote to start/stop the camera as necessary. This was the only way I ever got that motor back together.............. Just make sure that the camera is seeing...

Unfortunatly, I will not be attending the races at Laguna Seca this year. However, I have been listening to the radio, and feel very sorry for those who are going to ride/drive to Laguna Seca from south of Los Angeles.... I would seriously go up Interstate 5, then cut over to 101 well north of Santa...

If there is any need for this, for those who can't get bigger jets. In my business, I can get round burrs, that will ream out brass very easily, properly lubed of course, graduated in .10mm gradiations. They come in sizes from .25mm to 8.0mm. The larger ones get a bit pricey......... Let me know if ...
