Hi do any of you guys know the engine weight of the rd500
ive just bought one and need it moving by courier so need the information

Saw 2 of these bikes on the iom this year always at the same petrol station!! for me they were the stars of the island! Inspired by the bikes ive just bought a rd500 engine let the madness start!

Clutch is slipping on my 500 when hitting the power, my bike is tunned with pipes 28mm carbs zeeltronic etc, it was slipping last summer so in its winter rebuild I put yzr springs in the friction plates looked fine!! Could it be down to the oil or should I put some new heavy duty plates in? I have p...

hi all, after doing quite a few mods to my 500 ie pipes, stage3 tune, 28mm carbs have been thinking about the next stage of performance mods, Gave mick abbey a call and he surgested changing the cdi so the question is which one? the zeeltronic ones come in at about £290 with the hand held unit look...

Didnt use the original cable just the throttle
had cables made one into four (not running oil pump)

Hi i am using the standard throttle with my 28s
had to have the cables shipped from usa but it works a treat!

I'll try and make donnington, only live 15 miles away so it would be rude not too!
I'll poke my head round and say hi mark!
