Re: Mikuni TM28 With Standard OEM Choke Cables and Lever
Hi Paul you can buy plunger kits for the Mikuni carbs. Thay come with adjusters.
I found also that you need to go much bigger on the main jets than standard.

Re: RZ 500 electrical problem
Hi Ron, if you haven't fixed the problem yet try a simple test.
When the engine stops remove the fuel tank cap, turn the fuel tap to prime then try starting.
The breather in the cap is very small so can block easily.
Good luck.

Re: R6/rz500 project in Aus
Yeah, I'm happy with that.
Increasing the slide cutaway made a massive difference to the bottom end, but I'm still thinking of going to Keihin's.

Re: R6/rz500 project in Aus
Finally got sick of trying to tune on the road so got a friend to spend a day on the dyno. I had so many problems using the wrong oil, the bike seemed to be to rich but in fact was to lean. Here's the results, I'm pretty happy with the hp 94 at the rear wheel & weighing only 150 kg! http://i1204...

Re: My RZ500 resto project
Well done, very nice job.
One question though. How long has that concrete mixer been sitting there?
